Egyptians Risk Their Lives, Dreaming of Europe as They Sail Across the Mediterranean
Fleeing poverty and repression, with no plans for the future, more and more Egyptians are trying to reach Europe, often risking their lives like the dozens caught in the recent shipwreck in Greece. According to the authorities, 43 Egyptians survived. For its part, RPE received dozens of calls from families still without news.
